First sale of the day…The Trickster! Grandma had picked up the other two books in October for Eve.

Gah! First customer of the day picked up a 3 pack of DCC but I forgot to take her picture. (She went that way…). Day 2 of SEAC show. 9-5.

First sale of the day went to a friend, Chris Wevik.

First sale of the day: Roberta picked up THE ALCHEMIST’S STONE.

First sale of the day…Nichelle bought the Firehandler.

Mashed Potato time. Get to recycle an old creative writing assignment today while teaching at the SCSC Young Writers Conference. Students in desks? Eegads!

First sale of the day: The Alchemist’s Map for Sara.

The tables are out! Full display again after smaller events at libraries and bookstores. I’m in sunny Maple Grove from 9:30-4:00.

All set up! I’ll be in Winona at Paperbacks and Pieces until 2.

Heading to Winona for Book Event #4 of 50 for 2025. I’ll be at Paperbacks and Pieces from 11-2. This is the first of six Saturdays before I take a break for Julie’s birthday in April.

I’ve never presented in a police annex before (actually a very nice facility).

After teaching media for 25 years, I had to "express myself" with something other than the written page. This series will give a look inside of the author's head when editing a work.

One hour until book event #1 of 2025. Teaching the folks in New Ulm about LeSueur.

Fuel for an addiction. My distribution company is now listing ranks. Why? To keep authors from giving up. How do they build self esteem? They let you pick categories for your novels that are so specific that your rank looks awesome. LOL. #7 in sales. LOL.

All set up for Book Event 44 of the year. I’ll be selling from 3-7 tonight and 10-4 on Saturday and Sunday.

#classof2006 I love running into former students. Got to visit with Bob Olson today in Northfield.

Today’s adventure is in Northfield for the Defeat of Jesse James Days. 50 yards from Carleton College on the west side of the park.

All set up today in…White Bear Lake. Inside! No wind! No bugs! No rain!

Fun to find “old school” readers. Bowen picked up 3 hard cover editions of the Alchemist Chronicles cuz he and his friend “have a book club.”
